Who we are

Zeb Productions started with a love and passion for stage lighting and live events. In 2017, our founder Gabe began the journey to turn his passion into something bigger. After working with churches and artists in Kansas City his hobby of a few years became his passion. He started a consultation and live event business in 2017, and as it began to grow it became evident that it's time to name this business with an unforgettable name that carries a personal meaning; Zeb Productions.

In the Bible, there were two brothers who were disciples of Jesus who were known as "The Sons of Thunder". They were the sons of a man named Zebedee. The founder, Gabe, wanted to find a way to tie his last name, which means "Son of Thor", and his faith in Jesus into the identity of his lighting and live events business. This is how the name "Zeb" came about. 

Zeb Productions is an event lighting business, but our passion for lighting is connected to our passion for churches. Our heartbeat is two fold. First to create an experience, free from distractions, where people have a personal connection with Jesus. Second to empower churches and houses of worship to use lighting to do just that. This is why most of our clientele includes worship leaders and churches. That's what makes Zeb Productions so different.

We are in the business of design, and we wanted to be intentional with our brand. At first glance, it's clear that it depicts a "Z" and looks like a lightning bolt, but there is much more to it. The main angles of the "Bolt" are 45 degrees, which happens to be the sweet spot for front lighting. The negative space is designed to look like beams of light. But why the "Bolt"? As you may have read in the "What does "Zeb" Mean?" section, our name is a reflection of our faith, and the logo does the same with the Bolt. The Bolt describes that "Zeb" is a reference to the "Sons of Thunder".
